FYI:
These Floor Plugs snap into the multiple drain holes in the floor and bed of most Jeeps with steel bodies and one inch (1”) diameter holes. Since previous owners may have removed these plugs to drain water, repair rust or paint, the plugs may now be missing from your Jeep. I have included sixteen (16) Floor Plugs which is the maximum number required for most CJs. If you don’t need all sixteen, retain the extra as spares.
DIY:
Replacing Floor Plugs is easy as they simply snap into most 1 inch (1") diameter holes in Jeeps with steel bodies. Jeeps that have aftermarket spray on bed liners may have to be trimmed slightly if the bed liner was applied too thick around these drain holes. I have included photos of Floor Plugs replaced several months earlier in a 1982 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler which had an extremely thick bed liner applied years earlier. These Floor Plugs easily snapped into all but a couple of the drain holes on that particular Scrambler. I was able to wedge the Floor Plugs into the last two holes by using a utility knife to trim away a little of the over spray so they would also snap into place. This project requires only basic hand tools like a flat head screwdriver, work gloves, eye protection and possibly a utility knife if the Jeep has a thick bed liner.
TIP:
If necessary, use the rounded handle end of a screwdriver to exert more downward force around the perimeter of the Floor Drain Plugs when you are wedging them into place.
Warming plastic Floor Drain Plugs in the hot sun or in hot water makes them extremely pliable and easier to wedge and bend into place, especially during cool weather

. The MINI uses 10 (ten), 1 inch floor plugs, which were originally "rubber". This MINI uses 4 plugs on the left side, 1 in the front pan and 3 in the rear pan and 6 on the right side, 2 in the front pan (1 needed to be trimmed on flange a little as the pan raises up to close to the hole) and 4 in the rear pan. Took the new plugs and just popped them in on a chilly 40 degree day – fit the OEM and aftermarket sheet metal drain holes perfectly. 1967 MINI Mk1 Cooper S, LHD
. The MINI uses 10 (ten), 1 inch floor plugs, which were originally "rubber". This MINI uses 4 plugs on the left side, 1 in the front pan and 3 in the rear pan and 6 on the right side, 2 in the front pan (1 needed to be trimmed on flange a little as the pan raises up to close to the hole) and 4 in the rear pan. I also used 2 - 3/4" plugs in the raised rear seat pan. Hope this helps. Thanks again.

. They fit perfectly! I think people have grown inherently impatient and if something doesn't immediately work or go their way, it must be defective or somebody's fault other than their own. Your enclosed instructions are spot on and in my opinion common sense. People just give up too easily. And with more people spraying bedliner material in there jeep tubs and all the dried mud, crud and road grime on the undercarriage after 30 years of use, some prep may be warranted. Hello!!?? Ok...Rant over. They work perfectly and snap tightly into place. Much better than the stock hard plastic ones. Again, thank you. The prompt shipping is greatly appreciated. The price was more than reasonable and I appreciate you accepting my offer.

from the Midwest. Just replaced the front floor pans with aftermarket replacements, and Monsta-lined the interior of the tub/floors. Took the new plugs and just popped them in on a chilly 40 degree day – fit the OEM and aftermarket sheet metal drain holes perfectly. Wish I could be of more help – but they worked exactly as described. Couldn’t have asked for a better product.
